Certification of welding personnel and approval of welding procedures

Scope of Application 

In collaboration with our partner, TÜV Nord, we certify welding personnel (welders and welding operators) and approve welding procedures. 

Approved welding procedures and certified welders are essential factors in ensuring welding quality during the manufacture, installation, and maintenance of boilers, pressure vessels, steel structures, railway vehicles, and other equipment. 

Welders are certified in accordance with: 

• EN ISO 9606 – 1…5 
• EN ISO 14732 

Welding procedures are approved in accordance with: 

• EN ISO 15614 – 1…14

• Review of the Preliminary Welding Procedure Specification (pSPA) 
• Monitoring the Welding Process of a Test Sample 
• Conducting Destructive and Non-Destructive Tests
