Rapidly advancing industrial robot technology can reduce the risks to workers, but it can also pose new threats to their health and lives.
There are no specific safety requirements established in Lithuania for robotic industrial cells; therefore, when installing such cells, it is necessary to follow the ISO 10218-1 standard andthe general provisions of the Technical Regulation on “Machinery Safety.”
